There has to be silence for sound to exist.

There has to be emptiness for matter to exist.

Emptiness and silence matter.

Those two things are the starting point of musical creation.

The amount of galaxies stars and planets is awesome, the amount of silent space, more so.

Infinite space for mystery and creation.

Thanks Q. I think repetition sits well with the ear, as long as the ear can feel the changes and that it let's the imagination grow with the music.
The genre doesn't sit with some which is fine of course, but I know that you ' get ' my music and it's a huge compliment.

1. There has to be an atmosphere and pressure changing processes for sound to exist.
2. Emptiness is useless to matter. There has enough energy to exist for matter to come into existence. There is so much nothingness outside the universe. But it does nothing to us.

Sorry but this is all nice sounding metaphysical nonsense devoid of any meaning.

And there never was creation. Selforganization of patterns caused by differences in energy density and fluctuations is the cause of all this "creation". Transport of matter and energy until entropy is maximized causes life and sound.
Physics and chemistry are much more wonderful than all this esotherical woo woo.
But yes: It´s a wonderful world. The greatest wonder is: We are able to understand it with time using the scientific method.

Music is art.
Music is spiritual.
Music is emotion.
Music is sound.
Music is personal.

All music is created with some emotion and feeling whether it be jazz, rap, techno, classical or whatever.

This piece has been created with feeling but I respect that we are all entitled to our own opinions.

Nice track again, Lester! This is music that I want to wake up to on a Sunday morning.

And Saxifraga, eventhough you're technically 100% correct, I think you totally missed the spirit behind Lester's text.
I am a scientist myself, but I am a human too. Eventhough I know there are no wizards, hobbits and orcs, I totally enjoy a Lord of the Rings movie.
Not everything written has to be about reality. There are dreams and imagination as well, hence the name of Lester's first album: 'We All Dream'.

Also..........I would rather taste honey, than find out the chemical composition of it.

Mystery is important to me. Fuels the imagination.

As a high school music teacher, this reminds me of something I tell my audiences often:

Perhaps the "Mozart Effect" is real and studying music makes one smarter at math. But studying music because it makes one smarter at math is like buying ice cream to run a chemical analysis of its ingredients. It may be a useful exercise, but it misses the point. Music should be studied for music's sake. To deny music in our students is to deny their humanity, and we've seen where that will lead.

You sound like an amazing Music teacher.

I think that although the Kronos is full of 'dumb' data, the 'dumb' data is the emptiness that allows infinite possibilities. All musical instruments are 'dumb' without a musician. The Kronos is like a universe.

A concert pianist friend of mine when she was seeking support to buy a Yamaha concert grand (which she succeeded with, BTW) said "what is a pianist without a piano and what is a piano without a pianist? They have no meaning without each other"

I agree that music evokes feelings. And I like the music that was presented.
It was only the TEXT I disagree with.
What makes humans special is not our feelings, most animals very likely have them too.
Our analytical mind and team work is what makes us the most succesfull and dangerous species. I don't understand why the analytical side always gets blamed for most of humanitys blunders and the irrational part gets honored for the nice things we do. Most of the time irrational feelings cause wars and chaos. Music has so much to do with careful construction of harmonic dependencies and their emotional effect on your brain.

But maybe we should discuss this somewhere else.
