That's what I was reading somewhere. I thought it was an external module that accomplished this. I didn't know Karma could do such a thing! Does it require the Karma software to accomplish?

If Xtrade is successful with it would it also mean more then one controller could be controlled like having multiple manuals on an organ?

I'm also very interested in Bertotti's solution of routing a second CX3's output to the input of the first.

not at my kronos at the moment but ...

here's an idea only using one cx3.

set the cx3 split point to the lowest note on your kronos keyboard, then transpose your other keyboard down enough octaves to trigger the second manual. If I remember correctly there is a way to offset the octaves on the same screen as the split screen to make the second manual sound in the right octave.

But you will need a controller that can transpose up and down by about 5 octaves for this to work.

I'm not at my Kronos either but I was wondering if there might be a way of routing a second cx-3 sound out a secondary output and back into an audio in so that it runs through the same Leslie sim. This might not even be possible but it's an idea.

Sorry, I ended up having to work late and haven't had a chance to try it yet.

To summarise, the two most viable ideas we have currently are:
- Split & Transpose, with Karma to reroute/merge the channels and transpose so we don't have to fiddle with settings on the controller
- Audio bussing one CX3 through the other's built-in FX section.

I'm pretty sure at least one of these will work.
To be honest I'd actually forgotten both that we can route audio back into an EXi program, and also that Karma can transpose and route channels, possibly even when offline

Yes; that's the intent of the "Upper Octave Shift" and "Lower Octave Shift" parameters on the CX-3 Keyboard Split page.

Can't do it, sorry; the CX-3 doesn't have an audio input. EXi with audio inputs include the AL-1, STR-1, MS-20, and MOD-7.
