pa800 Original Performances

Hi,

Can anyone point me to the pa800 factory performances. I don't need to do a factory reset, I just want the original SET, so I can extract the original performances. Thanks.

Its BKP file. Isn't it a .SET file that should be what I'm looking for. Again its only to get the factory performances. Because I changed them, and forgot to make an original backup of them. Or does the BKP contain them ? I will check later tonight. Thanks though for the reply.

The BKP contains them, so here's what you can do:
1. make a backup of your current resources.
2. I suggest to make a 'full' backup, to always be able to restore all your current keyboard settings.
3. I also suggest to make 'loose' backups: unprotect you musical resources (styles/pads and sounds) and save all of the 'onboard' items in your keyboard to a USB stick: styles, performances, pads, songbook; all of them. You can use the 'loose' backup to restore for instance a separate style or performance later on.
4. When your back-ups are ready and secure, download the latest OS and Musical Resources from korgpa.com
5. Restore the OS and Musical Resources (follow procedure on the korgpa.com site)
6. Your keyboard is now completely up to date with the factory settings, including the performances.
7. Repeat step 3, in your case in particular to save the factory performances to your USB stick
8. Restore your 'full' back up made in step 2. You now have your original settings back.
9. You can now select / restore individual factory performances you made in step 7 to your keyboard.
