sample aftertouch

sample aftertouch

is it possible on the kronos if you play a sample and you release the key that it fades out and not direct cut the sample??

That is not what is meant by "aftertouch".

And yes, it's possible. You need to adjust the release time in the AMP/EG page.

Aftertouch is what you get when you press down harder on the key after your initial strike. It allows you to add CCs for things like volume, vibrato, filter sweeps, etc. You can even do some exotic things. Understanding basic synthesis will help you get a handle on this concept. There are a lot of things written on the subject on the Internet and in books.
