KORG D1600 How to measure digital signal level

How can I use my KORG to get a signal in the range of -6 -12 ? Or where is the noise floor line on the d1600? I believe -6 is actually = to -0- digital speak.
I love recording music. I feature indie bands on my Itunes pocast.
