Microkorg=MS2000R?
Sorry if this has been posted before but I couldn't find the post so I have to ask (again, if ever). I've read that the MicroKorg has the same sound engine as the MS2000/R. (It's even under the same forum Index!). Will it then be useless for me to buy a MicroKorg since I already own an MS2000R? I wanted the MicroKorg not for it's form factor or vocoder but just cuz I thought it had different sounds than the MS2000R. Please clear this up before I let go of my dough...Thanks!

It is capable of exactly the same sounds.
In fact it does a little more because it has the modulation sequencers which the micro lacks.
However you will find the presets are different. You may be able to download them from somewhere and load them into the MS2000 though.
