Could you be a bit more specific? Similar to which Yamaha and in what way?Nifin wrote:Does the keyboard have a sustain option similar to Yamaha?
You can have SUSTAIN assigned to the ASSIGNABLE PEDAL SWITCH or DAMPER
You can have SUSTENUTO assigned to the ASSIGNABLE PEDAL SWITCH or DAMPER
You can (re)program the SUSTAIN parameter(s) for every sound in the keyboard.

Yes, it's called a Damper Pedal that you plug into the back of the keyboard. Then you just press the pedal when you want added sustain, just like a piano. You could also reprogram the sustain parameter for individual sounds and save them as USER sounds with added sustain. Or you could set the Global Reverb Offset to a higher level.Nifin wrote:I'm really sorry! In most of the Yamaha PSRs there is a sustian on/off button on the sound control panel that makes any sound fade off from the moment we retrieve our finger(s) while playing notes and it last for 1-2 seconds. Does Korg arrangers have a similar function like this?

How to set touch sensitivity for individual sound?
Hello,
Please try to solve this question.
I would like to set GLOBAL > Controllers > Velocity Curve as "FIX" but I still want touch sensitivity in some sounds... Like piano and guitar... How do I ?

If you are looking for sustain, you can do go to sound edit, choose the sound and press HOLD. It works good for piano sounds.
However as Rick mentioned, Damper pedal would be the best choice. In absence of damper pedal you can use the HOLD option.

Sustain per Damper-Polarity
To be nearest to a similar function like PSRs sustain on/off simple use the Function of Damper-Calibration, where you also can set the polarity of the Damper-Pedal, to be used like Sustain on/off.darrylkorg wrote: .. PSRs there is a sustian on/off button ..

Re: How to set touch sensitivity for individual sound?
You'll need to edit the sounds that you want to have a 'fixed' response and save them to your user sounds. There is a parameter in sound edit (BASIC >> VEL/KEY ZONE) where you can program what output level you want for a given input level. If you set the SCALED VELOCITY range to 127-127 then any input key velocity will result in a fixed 127 level output.rijadeja wrote:Hello,

Assignable/Damper pedal
Reading the above previous posts caught my attention on the calibration part. When I try to activate calibration in my PA600 it always say out of range having chosen the sustuno option. Also which option among the many that can give a gud stable sound. To make it easy for you to help me, when following the instruction, I first press the foot pedal to its fullin the uuper section and release when it says release in the second below section of the screen sill under assignable pedal. I have you talking about the damper pedal. Can I also use the foot pedal as damper pedal alone.Which is the best option to choose again to get a concrete stable nice sound in both damper and assignable pedals.I will be kindly waiting for your response.
