I wonder, why KORG sell 2 same models PA600 & PA600QT and PA900 & PA900QT (maybe!)

The best choice would be for KORG to release the oriental micro keyboard as an add option with the resources.

my guess is as good as you but the "korg" panel on the left side shouts :Yes!
seriously if korg is not going to use that panel for an oriental version , i can not justify putting it there in the first place. personally , i think its ugly. It was ugly in pa600 too :?
MUSCI AND THATS ALL...........!!!!

dimitris,

The PA900QT would be very convenient for oriental musicians (ex. pro and amateur musicians) on live performance with more oriental sounds, more sampling possibilities, more ram,etc...
The advantage for Korg is that they can reach and gain a different public with more sales.

I remember hearing in the first "demo video" from korg, Steve McNally mentioned there may be a pa900 QT in the future. Check the video on youtube

Very simple, that's where they actually MAKE the money on their arrangers, Oriental/QT.

He says it at about 2:00
Pretty generic reference, he could have been referring to a Musikant version. ;-)

I watched the YouTube link and indeed he's mentioning about eventually a local version of Pa900.
Thank you.

Hello Br,

I am not saying it's not convinient. I am one of those musicians but in the case of PA600 why KORG doesn't sell the QT mini keyboard as an option extra to help stores not to stock two instruments with just one difference!!
Also, there are many people waiting for QT and can't find here in Greece!
The same will happen with PA900QT in the future if there are no other differences!

dimitris,
I agree with you, but what we can do as a musician?
Every musician from different styles and culture around the world has different needs and expectation regarding the e-Keyboards.
Let's wait and see... :)
Thanks.
