TEQUILA (short movie) and LONG ROAD music score (5 minutes)

Post by Mike Conway »

I recently scored a 5 minute short, THE LONG ROAD OUT OF TOWN. I'm quite fond of this music and would like to hear what some of you think. OASYS and Virus TI are the players. While many people complain about the OASYS/Kronos' acoustic guitars, I find them useful. Here it is:

THE LONG ROAD OUT OF TOWN score (On Sound Cloud)

I also recently posted the stand alone score to THREE STRIPE, which is on the OASYS dvd. It's still one that I like. I used just the OASYS to score/record the whole thing (sequencer, sounds, wavefile).

Finally, I like sharing my short movies with you guys/gals, especially since I use the OASYS to score them. So, here is the latest, it's a dark comedy called

A couple of gems BTW! I wonder where the tradition for drinking the worm originated. If it where my turn, I would say, I've had enough and chuck the bottle in the trash. What difference does one swig make?

Great work Mike, the music was super!

:) :)

Yeah, the worm tradition is a strange one. Thanks for listening and watching, Denny!

Great work Mike, I like the short film and know now why I stopped drinking Tequila ;)
Also like the music, the first piece creates a very dense athmosphere.

best regards

Hahahahaha. Mike, I'm still laughing! I don't drink any more, but there was time I polished off a full bottle of Jose Cuervo tequila all by myself. At the end of the evening, apparently, I was having a conversation with a Yaqui Sorcerer. I distinctly remember a glowing Mexican fireplace somewhere in my home. But, that was impossible. It was the dead of winter in Ontario, Canada. What a hoot!!!

SoulBe, I finally watched the trailer (and the "Interlude") link in your signature. That's intense!

Jim, sorceror? Fireplace, out of place? That sounds like quite the evening!
