Newbie with some basic questions
Hi, I'm new and I just dusted off my Triton (OS 2.1.0) preparing to update...
But to my rudimentary questions:
1. When I go into sequencer mode to record a track, it changes my setting. I want to record in combination mode, but it doesn't even let me change the sound once in sequencer mode.
2. When I am updating my OS, can I skip to 2.5.3 from 2.1.0, or do I have to do the intermediate steps first?
Thanks in advance!

I can only answer #2: You can update to the latest OS 2.5.3 without going through the intermediate versions. It'll automatically include those in this latest updategwennieg147 wrote:Hi, I'm new and I just dusted off my Triton (OS 2.1.0) preparing to update...

Just updated my classic last night and the update (v2.5.3) worked like a charm. Haven't had enough time to go through the paces but everything seems in ordergwennieg147 wrote:Thank you alvin c. I think the 2.5 update will allow me to automatically record in the setting im in which will take care of the first question, i think. Anybody?

Have you tried turning off the power then turning it back on? If it still doesn't work, you might wanna try resetting the unit and then reloading the OS and PCG sounds. I just copied this off of the net somewhere:
To re-init, hold ENTER & 0 while powering up
“Writing to memory”
Then enter disk mode to reload factory data disk (disk1)
.pcg file is the init file
Preload: Disk Load (TNFD00P and TNFD01P for Classic, Hard Drive contains preload for Studio)
This might be a dumb answer but also try cleaning your floppy drive with a disk cleaner. Dirty drives may cause reading errors
