Just a quick note to IA-Studio has been completely redesigned and that "OASYS ASSAULT" is now no loner available on DVD. Even better, it's now available as a Digital Download for the first time, and at a greatly reduced price.

Something you could try... Go to http://hidemyass.com/
And enter in irishacts.com to the web proxy to see if you can access the site that way.

If that works, then I'm shocked you can even see KF right now as your IP range must be within a specific block which the server is filtering right now due to spam traffic.

Hungary is high on the list for spam so the filter updates a lot.

OK, thanks, the site opens via proxy (but not always smoothly).

P.S. I'm sorry to hear about spamming. It's also bad that you have to block IP ranges and not certain addresses only. I never had problems when contacting your site in the past - years ago.

P.S.2. Another related issue: the image linked from your site to your signature here (http://www.irishacts.com/images/k-mini.jpg) doesn't appear in my browser. A gray icon shows that the image is missing, however the link is working to Kronos Sound Libraries.

OASYS Assault is truly excellent - I already own it. It's a great 'Sample' addition to the OASYS

KSC-GEN is also very useful for managing OASYS Assault - but - is there any chance of your porting it to OSX?

I'm afraid not. Honestly, the volume of sales for KSC GEN was so low that it wasn't even worth my time writing the PC version by a long way.

Understandable. A pity - it's an excellent application - and to anyone reading this OASYS / Kronos Assault is truly excellent - this is a 1st rate package - I'm saying that completely unprompted and with no vested interest in it - it's a truly, TRULY 1st rate package by Sharp who is a maestro at sampling. So you get a fabulous new set of sample based voices, solo instruments, ethnic instruments, awesome choral voices, the works. It literally gives your OASYS / Kronos a new identity.


But why I'm saying all this is that KSC GEN really brings the package to an entirely different level because you get to choose which voices from the package you to install onto the OASYS - it's a Godsend given the OASYS 2GB RAM limit.

Yes, but EXs90 KRONOS ASSAULT is better.
You get enhanced version of most of the sounds in OASYS ASSAYULT, plus additional content.
