So, I got the Korg Kronos VST installed and I have a USB to USB cable. I plug it into Kronos and into my PC. Nothing happens. I have the driver installed and my pc doesn't read the Kronos at all. No 'loading' message or anything.
The VST opens in Cubase but it won't read the Kronos.
Is there settings in the Kronos I missed?
Sorry for a probably already answered question but I searched and didn't find anything.
thanks gang

Although I'm not fully versed with a pc lately, now have an imac, but the principal is similar for both platforms as far as Kronos and Cubase is concerned, initially.
The Kronos should work seamlessly with Cubase.
Just a few suggestions.......
Do make sure the drivers are really installed properly.
Try another usb cable and/or a different port on the pc.
Boot the Kronos before running Cubase.
If this doesn't work, you'll need to check Cubase settings.(vst,input/output etc).
Hope this helps.
Best Wishes.

The Kronos should work perfectly with Cubase, I presume you've downloaded and installed the latest midi drivers from korg.com?
If your using windows 8 you need the midi drivers ending with r4 which STILL aren't showing under the Kronos section. However its the same midi driver as say the nanopad, correct version is below.
If however your talking about using the Kronos editor within Cubase, if your running 64bit Cubase (or any other 64bit daw), I'm afraid Korgs editor is incompatible.
