As i've said elsewhere, be and stay safe guys, equipment is a lower priority.
Watching what's happening on the news and the stand of that life threatening hurricane, your place is a scary place to be right now.
Don't challenge your luck but be wise and keep yourself and surroundings safe!
I'll never understand why always a feminine name for those frightening events but be smart and again and most of all, be safe.

I am in NJ.. just across mid town manhattan...... so far just windy and little rain. I am on third floor and our building is on a hill, so no risk of flooding... we may lose power and heat.

I have stock of food and water.... lot of batteries and flashlights..... wish M3 ran on batteries...;-)

Stay safe Nedim..... are you going to sample that wind sound?

I was actually thinking of that...and as James said, name the Sound as HAARP.

My home is relatively new but still it was put together with paper-mâché and crazy glue. Last year when Irene landed I sat and watched my back yard fence fly about 100 feet upward. I cannot believe the winds here in DE, it gets quite scary. Stay safe.

I'm in South Jersey. I will soon have the center of Sandy over me. the Kronos is on an ultimate support stand in the basement. i will bring it upstairs if i get e few feet, but it should be OK. Don't watch the news too much. It'll make you nuts.

I'm in Northern Delaware and we've gotten about 5 inches of rain already and are in the direct path once this bitch hits landfall. I've got tarp, bricks and sandbags along the back of the house to keep the water from entering the back door and flooding the 1st level as I am in a low-lying area.

Best of luck to all in the storm's path.

LANDFALL IS IMMINENT.The storm moving faster now. This could be good as there is still daylight here. No sequencing tonight.

Well that's good news now, its up to 30mph now which is good, it will go away
faster instead of non stop pounding at 13mph as it originally was.

I'm in Ct. and 1/4 of my town has been evacuated. The worst is yet to come, and things are already falling off buildings left and right.
I'm in my last class of my degree, and I have to score a film, I'm furiously composing to get as much done before the power goes out!
The apartment I am moving into in NYC is not in the flood zone, so at least that's one less thing to stress about!

Be safe everyone, catch you on the flipside,
P
