Can you describe the exact steps you followed to load the new OS, and then do the Factory Restore?mehran_korgpa3x wrote:i have loaded my pa3x to factory restore but i cant find any updates ? could you please help me ?

Re: Update 1,5
Zagrebman,
Paolo
Please keep an eye on www.korg.de. Korg & More will release the new Musikant OS very soon. Do not load the Standard OS into your Musikant.Zagrebman wrote:can i also make update on my Musikant

No improvement to the CS though. Very disappointing. I was hoping that at the least a CS could be saved with a Songbook entry.
Also no improvement to the CS in regard to key changes or variation selection. Nor is there any change to the awkward double button push to both start record and playback of the CS. I am thinking of those without the EC-5 and who HAVE to use the panel buttons.
And the MAXX audio issue where it automatically reverts to the global default after 15 seconds (when no battery is connected) is also not mentioned in the upgrade manual as being a fix. It was stated by Korg Italy it would be.
So apart from bug fixes, a bit underwhelming really. I must admit that after all this time in sorting this new OS, I was expecting just a little more.
I suspect that after all the "oohs and ahhs" have stopped and owners start getting into exactly what has been added, well maybe they will come to the same conclusion.
Still, I was happy with the PA3 before, and the bugs fixed were none that bothered me greatly. I have not upgraded as yet, only because the MAXX issue apparently has not been resolved - well at least it is NOT mentioned in the upgrade documents.
And those VITAL changes to the CS have not been done - as easy as they would have been to implement. Cannot be that difficult to record key presses to a small midi file for saving to the style/song...
That is my initial view to the update at any rate -it MAY change, but I doubt it.

i second this, we need this biiiig time!musicrazy wrote: , but they missed to correct the "songbook only" transpose bug. If i lock the master transpose from style settings then the songbook transpose settings are locked too. That's not working the way it should be. On pa2x we can lock the style settings transpose and still have songbook transposing. I supose korg can correct this on a new os update for bug corrections.
Pleaseeeee

I think that the version number 1.50 is too much for the update. Maybe the 1.20 fits better according to the manual. Anyway, today I believe I will have some time to update my PA3X.

This working, Dennis?
Master transpose as you know applies to the original style when loaded. And of course also to any CS you then record.
If you then start recording a CS, and decide to change key during the recording, the CS does not record the key change but stays on the original starting key of the style....
Unless I did it wrong (ALWAYS possible)....
Even THAT would have been acceptable if they allowed the saving of the recording for later recall from a Songbook entry...that was THE biggie for me!!
