88 - aftertouch?

Post by BobTheDog »

Hi Guys,

Probably a stupid question but does the 88 keyboard have aftertouch?

Cheers

I noticed that on the Kronos (61) aftertouch is not as 'heavy' as using JS Y+ (which both are mostly set to vibrato). On the other hand (at least on a 61) aftertouch really works, on older (pre Kronos) models it was more like an on/off aftertouch.

Taking a little time calibrating it with a not so heavy touch works really well for me.
I've an exact match between after touch and the joystick set on my KRONOS. Took a few attempts mind you but it's pretty spot on now.

Sounds like a good idea, I want to keep most factory sounds as original as possible so I changed a few aftertouch settings, but maybe recalibrating it is even better (at least easier).
