I started to watch it but I got creeped out by all the bugs.

Many of them looked real!

A perfect one.
For those kind of movies it helps a lot, it gives plausibility as everyone can see it is a real home and not a set.

As Martin says, the efects are superb.

And as usual, the same can be said of the soundtrack.
