In putting together a short tutorial for the Kronos Arps thread I came across the following bug. I searched and found a reference to it by Stephen Kay - so I'm sure those at Korg know about - but didn't see a direct reference to the problem (apologies if I missed it).
So here it is and here is the workaround:
a) change the program to IA-055
b) change the GE to 220 (only hit the button once)
c) look at the GE RTP (I'm looking at the second page parameter 17-32)
You will see that there are only 27 GE RTP. In fact these are the labels for the original GE in IA-055 (#0866) rather than the new chosen GE (#0220).
The GE still sounds ok - the actual parameters work - but the labels on the GE RTP pages are mucked up.
This can be solved by selecting the GE 220 twice (i.e. on the GE dialog hit the 220 number twice). If you do this and then look back at the GE RTP pages you will see the full correct 32 labels.
It's a bit weird as I tried my Oasys and that functions correctly so I don't really understand how the bug has come in - but anyway hopefully it will be solved with the next release.
Cheers, Domc
