Erasing/Overwriting Audio Automation, specifically volume

Hi All

I'm trying to re-mix a vocal track, volume-wise and have gone to audio track edit, erase measure and checked various things, i.e., automation; then tried volume —My old volume mix still remains —Can anyone help? Thanks, a million, Guys.

Check the bar numbers … you may have checked the appropriate
elements to edit/erase e.g. , volume, automation etc. But you may have erased the data from a location different from what you intended.
