Those pics on the wall (in the vid) are really nice!

Are they from the editor?

Would be cool to edit the MS-20 on a screen looking like this.

No, the pics in the background are the iElectribe and iMS-20 for the iPad. But I'm still hoping (against all odds) that Korg have also produced an iPad editor for Kronos. Yamaha managed it for the Motif XF, so fingers crossed.

Yamaha are in a completely different ball park. They managed to produce a Cubase 5 plug in editor for my 10 year old arranger. Can't see Korg doing anything like that.

Oh I see! That looks very good. I wouldn't mind this iMS-20 for the iPad... to edit MS-20 on the Kronos!!

:D

While we're at it, I wouldn't mind one for every engine.

What will happen if you have 1.5.2?

Post by MarPabl »

Considering this is true... Someone knows what to do if you need to install 1.5.2? Must we wait until 1.5.2 is installed? Can we safely install 1.6 over 1.5.2? :?:

I am sure that information would be part of the install procedure.

When did 1.52 come out? I never saw it before this discussion.

It's no public release: it only was installed with replaced keybeds, to provide them with correct velocity settings, as far as I remember.
Kronos 73 - Moog Voyager RME - Moog LP TE - Behringer Model D - Prophet 6 - Roland Jupiter Xm - Rhodes Stage 73 Mk I - Elektron Analog Rytm MkII - Roland TR-6s - Cubase 12 Pro + Groove Agent 5

I wanted to clear up any confusion about the OS version 1.5.2 that you're seeing on Kronos with the RH3 modification. The only change in v1.5.2 is in our factory diagnostic program, which is only accessible by our service technicians. It makes a very subtle software adjustment to compensate for the modified keybed. There is absolutely no change in any of the user specifications.

We're already working on much more exciting future OS releases, which will include some useful new features that we think you'll enjoy.

Thanks,
-Rich

Couldn't find the rich formadossi quote in the thread, but as per my post a few days ago re Andreas gundlich korg Germany musik messi 2012 quote "I have opp 1.6 with all new features, and the editor as well, all working wonderfully, should be released in days!)

My post I think was over a week ago prior to finish musik messie, and I ask again where is it, mainly the editor that we all have waited over 12 months for now. Remember this was stated as an inclusion at the release. I' not knocking the Kronos, god what a great board, few probs keybeds, plastic parts, small screen, however it's a gem. But I can't understand the delays on the other features, and please korg mirror the downloads so we get reasonable download times when it's released

I think if you ask 100 people, you'll get 100 different answers... even from those who work at, or are affiliated with Korg (resellers, distributors, etc). We've waited this long, another month or two isn't going to hurt... if its sooner than that, it'll be a pleasant surpirse.
