New O/S and extras

Post by Clavie »

Korg has just updated the Korgpa site with news of a new O/S & other extras.
Great news - thanks to Korg for the continued interest in updating their instruments and giving new sounds & styles for our use.
Happy playing

WaveXtractor pro???

Post by Sam CA »

it's posted on Korgpa.com :

WAVE Xtractor Pro

The third-party editor/librarian WAVE Xtractor Pro now add extra support for the Pa-Series.

www.wavextractor.com

Is this the same software we've seen on these forums for a while? or something new?

Sam it is the same I believe...and truly, do not waste your money.. I did, and it is a glorified XRM editor is all...not very useful as there are FAR better audio and wav programs out there...a lot that are free too!!

If it were free, no complaint...but even at the 15 euros or whatever it is, it is too much for what it does. And it is "flaky" as well....

But did you notice the ad? According to the site, this version is not out yet. I was just wondering if this version could be a collaboration between Xtractor and Korg, and maybe that's the reason why it's being advertised on korg's website now?

Does this mean that anyone who has already purchased Wave Extractor will get a discounted purchase price of this "Pro" version?

Thanks

Yeah you and me both Sam....the tiny promo video says a PA manager....but exactly how far it goes, and to what depths the guy is not saying...I don't understand why he needs to follow this Yamaha method of "drip-feeding" info, as if to get massive hype going!!!!

Unless he is under a N.D.A. with Korg of course...in which case he is forgiven :)
