Aaaahhhss

Post by karmathanever »

Hi all

I am still relatively inexperienced when it comes to setting up multi samples however, I created this last night. It is one of about 6 I want to create.
Here's an MP3 brief sample - it is choral "Aaahhs".

If you like it, I am happy to share all with you.

Hi Pete,

Very good. I am sure I more inexperienced than you in about everything to do with the keyboard. But I like to play about.

Some time ago( I am not sure if it was you) someone posted a guitar sound using DNC. It was great and I still use it.

What you have produced is really good and no doubt took a lot of time to read up and practice etc etc. Once you have done this it is more than likely that you will experiment further with your new found knowledge and experience.

Would it be possible for you to produce a tutorial for idiots on how you achieved this sound. I feel at times (many times) that I should explore the capabilities of the keyboard, but seem to fail at the first post. tutorials are a great way of helping all ,including myself who are at the later end on lifes scale.

Best wishes

Waoo!

if the result is as good as the Hank Guitar sound you create (the best sound for my Pa2X), it will be a must have.

Many thanks

Hi guys

Here is the download
http://www.mediafire.com/?1ky0ssmhav5cle2
Unzip it and you will have a SET with the PCM mutisamples and a single sound setup in USER01.PCG (first sound)

WARNING - if you load the whole set it will completely overwrite your currently loaded USER01 SOUND bank and sample RAM
- the best way is to "open" the sound file USER01.PCG and load the single sound (locate it wherever you want) and it should also add in its samples.

I quite like using this sound as a LOWER ACC sound in some ballads.

I do not believe that these samples were taken from a different Korg instrument. They were part of some freely distributable "wavs" I recently purchased.

Cheers & enjoy

Thanks Pete, I downloaded the file. I'm looking forward to going back home and install it. BTW did you configure the sound into a performance as well? Any style suggestion?

Hi Simone

I love vocal type sounds and bought Sharp's "Vocal Assault" samples a while ago - still use them a lot.
I tend to go for ballads with these sounds. I didn't set up a Performance - thought I'd leave that to you guys :D

You can certainly change FX etc - I put a reasonable amount of reverb on the SOUND to give a church-like effect but you may wish to change that.

Cheers

Nice bit of work there Pete !!
I enjoyed playing around with it on my PA800.Luckily it does not take up too much space seeing the PA800 only harbours 64Mb ram max.

A few months ago someone sent me the detailed sounds of the Tyros 4 acoustic piano.
I tried to make it work, that is sample it on the PA800 but got lost in the process.

If there is anyone out there with a decent acoustic piano sample that fits 64Mb I am game !!!

Pete, thanks again and keep up the good work !!!
