problem with volume pedal

does anybody know how too hook upkorg volume pedal i have it hook up to korg pa x 3 and its working fine but i cant get it to work with extreme

If you connect it to the Korg Extreme you can choose in the global menu what the function of the pedal is.

It should automatically be set to "master volume" though. Still, can't hurt to double check. If it's set to master volume, it should control exactly that, for all sound out of the main outputs and headphones. If you can't that to work, there's something wrong with the pedal or the input on the extreme.

For more variable use for different effects on different sounds, it's better to put it to CC#04 foot pedal or CC#11 expression, but those require a lot of programming per sound to achieve the desired effect.

... and make sure you are pugged in to the assignable pedal (not damper-sustain or the switch jack).

As stated above, those pedals can be assigned on the controller page of the global menu.
