M1 Standalone Mode

Post by daddyrnr »

I have 2 axiom pro 61 that I am using to play Wavestation and M1. I have my one Axiom set to play Wavestation which works just fine, on The M1 I get nothing. Have switched controllers and still nothing. If I play the virtual keyboard I get sound but no midi.

Any suggestions??

Does it work if you shut down both and start M1 only, no other MIDI app running? My guess would be a lack of multi-client MIDI host (meaning you can play only one instrument via MIDI, at any one time - obviously the one started first will grab the MIDI port).

I did get it to work. Was very strange. I reset my controllers back to factory and it started working. I have two Axiom 61 Pro and could control Wavestation with both controllers when only Wavestation was open and also when both Wavestation and M1 were open but could never ger control from either controller when only M1 was open by iteself or when both were open. Was also playing around with my computer settings also.

Not exactly sure what I did to fix the issue but it is working now.

Feeling a whole lot better about the issues.

Thanks for you help.
