Hedegaard and Kontrol49, you guys made some great points, told it like it is.
You can't blame Curvebender for wanting something of value that looks like it will probably go unclaimed. But, you guys did soberly highlight the larger issues. I doubt any of us would be sitting on Wall Street waiting for a hand out. Go out and earn it, use it, and enjoy it! :)

It won't go unclaimed, because hopefully Korg might (although I won't hold my breath)allow a turnaround with this and perhaps allow a rebate towards a Purchase of a Kronos,I would be certainly tempted on that to purchase a 61 Key to gig with and put the Oasys into studio duties only.I have no desire to buy a Kronos simply to take advantage of a discounted library,I would have no use for anyway,a rebate on the cost kind of makes it more tempting to purchase a K

If they don't then I will at my own liberty and choice pass this rebate onto a Kronos owner in here whom I deem deserves it(Providing Korg allows this)if you don't ask you don't get but a blatant try it on for free request, simply because this person thinks he should be given them based on his reasons to dump the Oasys doesn't fair too well in my books.

We all got screwed over with Oasys, some of us decided to not jump ship with it,so why should I surrender my Bonus for keeping hold of it and give it to someone who thinks he has some kind of Buyers right based on loyalty to the brand....Utter tosh, anyone with an ounce of loyalty towards the brand wouldn't have complained about that decision from Korg, and would be happy with the new Kronos, you put your money in your pocket for Kronos,so dig a little deeper and buy those sound libraries and not expect everyone else to give it to you for free

I've been buying Korg synths new since 1989 so I can do what the hell I like with my Rebate,

I find it absolutely despicable and cynical on Korgs side.

I paid for all the Oasys expansions as they were released, and now I am punished and no longer recognized as a loyal customer.

Thank you Korg.
I disagree. I had one of the first OASYS 88s, paid full price for it, added memory and paid for all of the expansions. When I sold it, I was no longer an OASYS owner.

It doesn't bother me at all that Korg's offer is restricted to current OASYS owners.

In the past, I have also owned and sold a Karma, Triton Rack, Triton Studio, and Triton Extreme. Perhaps I should be complaining about why Korg did not offer a "Korg Loyal Customer" Kronos discount?

Can't you people take avantage of the credit, and then, de-register?

I guess I'm missing something here.
