Thank you for your kind remarks. Just to add to that, I did buy (imported from the US) K61 initially. I realised that I am better off with weighted action keybed hence sold it and got K88. You know the story later.madbeatzyo111 wrote: Kron did buy both the K88 and after he returned it, the K73. He obviously wanted the Kronos to work for him and tried harder than most others would have. Then after going through the proper channels, he gets zero response from Korg about whether the issue can be fixed under warranty, forcing him to return to the dealer for a refund. And you expect him to sing praises???
There are behaviors that are much worse than being "completely useless" to the forum.
Kronos 88 and RH3 keyboard faulty

I agree. First thing, those who have no business here should get out of this thread and let the affected users discuss and express their views. Second, those who started this must stop this.michelkeijzers wrote: The last thing we want is a division in forum users of people pro and against Korg. Let's hope Korg addresses the problem fast.
What a pathetic place this has become!
Dude you aren't criticizing at this point. You had to go back to JUNE (3 days after you joined the forum) to find you saying something good about the Kronos.kron wrote:I usually won't argue with idiots.PinkFloydDudi wrote: Someone go find a post by kron that says no negative things about the product this forum is here for? PinkFloydDudi, do your homework first! Read these previous posts from me - this is when I had got K61:
http://www.korgforums.com/forum/phpBB2/ ... c&start=15
"Kronos build quality is absolutely superb. There is nothing in it that makes me feel it is not good. Don't fool yourself and try and compare that with Oasys, but even otherwise it is as good as other similarly priced workstations."
http://www.korgforums.com/forum/phpBB2/ ... d72638e31b
"My advice - Get a Kronos + KARO libraries + Real Guitars (or similar Guitar library) samples makes it a beast which blows away everything else out there"
My advise, there are other ways to show presence on the forum.
I have every right both to praise and criticise as appropriate and it is me who will decide that.
Now, if you have realised that you are making a fool of yourself, please mind your own business and stay away from me!
EVERY POST after that has been you doing nothing but complaining over and over and over.
Not to mention - you have RETRACTED the 2 good things you used to say about the kronos. What does that tell you?
You in one statement say "let me say what I want"...then in the next are trying to tell me not to do the same.
If you continue to complain in the way you are, I'll have no problem calling you out for nothing but the hater you are. many here see it and have commented on it, I possibly more than others.
I don't expect him to sing praises, just quit complaining about the same crap over and over when he doesn't even have a Kronos anymore!madbeatzyo111 wrote:Kron did buy both the K88 and after he returned it, the K73. No one complains when people bring up issues. Not one complains when those issues are discussed.
When those issues go on for 24 pages with the same people saying the same things - thereby burying USEFUL threads farther down in the forum, that is annoying.
You honestly find his last 3 months on this forum useful or helpful in any way?
Not to mention, did you ever actually see a picture with him and a kronos? Maybe he did post them. This is the internet...according to this place Sina has 500 Korg Tritons too...

It's a shame your #1 habit is a negative attitudekron wrote:I will, if the replacement K due early Nov doesn't work, and then you will get loads of unpleasant posts from me to jump on and demonstrate your loyalty to KORGGregC wrote:didn't you get rid of your Kronos, mr genius ?kron wrote: Again, Think, think more, better and high quality - it will sound different to you after years of practicing it

well i think the funny part of this is, that probably 60 percent of this thread is the rant between you, kron and gregc. So if you guys stop bugging eachother that would help tremendouslyPinkFloydDudi wrote:When those issues go on for 24 pages with the same people saying the same things - thereby burying USEFUL threads farther down in the forum, that is annoying.

we get it, you guys don't like eachother, there is no need to prove this post after post again.
Thank you!qrobinez wrote: we get it, you guys don't like eachother, there is no need to prove this post after post again.
Coming to the point - it has now been observed and consistently proven on my K73 that this keybed:
1. Repeats notes, expecially played at lower velocities. It does not matter whether a pedal is used/ not used/ calibrated/ which sound engine is used (heard Organ and Strings jumping noes ever?)
2. Cuts notes, which is when repeated note at low velocities
I am getting increasingly happy with KORG with these stupid bugs, and now more with the delays to OS 1.5 release. These guys must be drunk when they make announcements. Delay after delay after delay... no end to this

The glass is "Half Full" Scenerario..
The Kronos is perfect and has no issues with note cutoffs, key or build quality problems, software bugs, setlist problems, sequencer simple and is amazing, giant tilted touchscreen works perfect, has octave/transpose/menu/exit buttons, fan is mouse quiet, GM self installable...and interface is so simple you dont have to read anything. Priced way too cheap for what it does..
Voter Republican
The glass is "half empty" Scenario....
Hmm, lets see...what complaint do I start with...
I want a new keyboard with compensation for my time and trouble... Priced too expensive for all the problems it has..
Voter Democratic

I have to agree with kron here.
I am very interested in the kronos and I do want to hear an official responce on the keybed situation.
If I was kron, I would be on here venting my anger and I don't blame him in the slightest.
If I was someone who owned a kronos and had no provlems, I may well have popped into this thread to reasure prospective buyers that the amount of kronos's experiancing problems is very small.
But the way some people not experiening any problems have hijacked this thread, belittling kron in the process, well I can only asume you are about 13 years old ( and that's offensive to most 13 year olds I know)
It was a perfectly valid and interesting thread until the people not experiancing the problems came along and started with totally unnessasary personal insults and I don't want to belong to such a forum with such childish behaviour.
I've had some very good advice on this forum and have no desire to leave, but if behaviour like this continues, I 'm out of here.
I'm reporting this thread to the moderators as I think peoples unjust behaviour makes this forum look to be like an extreemly unwelcoming place.
Grow up people
