Able to setup pitch bend that it only affect the last note played (which can be done somehow already but it's way too overcomplicated).
Able to bend just the notes that you had pressed down during the start of the bend and after you are bending the notes you press down afterward won't be affected by this.

Seems like a simple addition of a few checkboxes in the program parameters.

That would be nice and probably is in the dev version. However, I am sure that dev version is also very protected since it might be possible to get lots of proprietary information out of it.Jon Lord wrote:I did not mean the source code. Possibility/ies to see which timbres that are layered or split (also between MIDI channels) belong together by doing one or more of:
- being able to sort timbres per MIDI channel and/or keyboard range, so splits/layers are grouped.
- add a line in the GUI between groups of timbres with same MIDI/keyboard ranges, so it can be seen automatically what timbres belong to each other OR
- add a (colored) symbol to show which timbres belong together (to be selected manually).
Show this symbol or line in all edit screens that show the timbres of a combi.
- move timbres left/right (swap them), to easily manage the timbres that belong together manually.
- when playing, show something in the GUI which timbres are playing (this would be ideal to quickly see which timbres are being played)
- Gray out unused timbres (e.g. which are muted), do this in all edit screens (not only the first)

Some engines do not have portamento. When programs are put in combi, the portamento (speed) can be overridden. However, it does not have any effect when the combi is doing that for that program.
Would it be better to gray out (disable) the portamento speed if it cannot be used anyway?
(same for other parameters in similar situations).

Multi-channel audio over USB
The Kronos could really use multi-channel audio over USB. I would love to record 16 stereo channels of audio from the Kronos to a DAW over USB in one pass.
Tool box: Kronos 61, Fantom FA06, ASR-10, MPCX, MPC Live, and MPC 4000.

And I'll repeat... Log/Lin control of glide, and please, please fix the attack/release envelopes in mono mode where the attack level ALWAYS starts from zero, no matter what the release time is set at (I fear this will never be sorted, as most other "Digital" synths suffer from the same thing) - the effect is laggy and unnatural

A very simple engine that allows users to load user samples (i.e. background tracks or sound effects in live performances when playing in a band, that can be triggered using the pads).
http://www.korgforums.com/forum/phpBB2/ ... hp?t=65996
As stated in the above forum it seems to be quite hard to load this kind of samples without being faded out. In fact, that's about the only thing my Fantom G does correct..
Strange though that even in the VST market, there's no such thing as a simple sample playback engine.. At least i haven't found one, and I did search a lot...

Can I also add to add a small symbol per timbre in all other combi pages (so it is easy to change timbres parameters on each page).stevepogson wrote:I'd like to see Activity monitors in the mixer page like on the M3. Can't think why they dropped them.

Something that's on the Jupiter-80, as well as a lot of software like Sibelius or Adobe, is that when you change the file/sound you're working on, there is a small symbol next to the file name to show it has been edited but not saved...
Think this would be a good thing to introduce to the Kronos as I can't tell you how many times I've worked on a sound (on the OASYS), gone away for one reason or another, come back forgetting that I'd edited and not saved, changed bank then of course, all edits gone!

Only an asterix / symbol would not be enough because you probably also don't want to go away (to another patch) ... and if you want to go away, should there be a yes/no question?cello wrote:Something that's on the Jupiter-80, as well as a lot of software like Sibelius or Adobe, is that when you change the file/sound you're working on, there is a small symbol next to the file name to show it has been edited but not saved...

1. Transfer data (samples, files, folders, etc) over USB to Mac/PC
2. Playhead marker in Sample Edit, Loop Edit, and Track Edit
3. Zoom In/Out in Track Edit
4. Sample Slice (Divide) into Equal Regions (Time Slice/Time Stretch)
5. "Latch" [Enter] button for use in Sample Edit/Loop Edit
6. Key plays edit range
7. Option to "LINK" Sample Start Point and Loop Start Point
8. Sample Edit: Add Pitch Shift (change pitch without changing tempo)
9. UNDO/REDO Last Edit
10. Grid (Sequencer) Recording and Editing
- ad a sound-tranpose function for all de sounds at once, complementary to the key-transpose function (my yamaha S90es has this function). So when you transpose the sounds on the Kronos, a second keyboard who is connected to midi is also playing the transposed sound. With just the keytranspose function, the second keyboard is playing in the original key.
Thats inconveniant when I want to transpose my whole setup at once, during an modulation in the song. And thats happening a lot in my band. Or is there an other way to do this?
- put the transpose function on the programmable SW swithes, so you have easy acces to the transpose function.
- or put the transpose function in the setlist edit page.

- I also like to have an option in the setlist mode where you can pop-up a text file (for lyrics), so it is larger than the current text option and with more characters and larger font.
