KORG PA800 distorted samples
Here is the weird thing, had the latest 2.01 version on my KORG PA800 and recently a alot of samples not all sound distorted? I don't think that would be a RAM chip or else all would be distorted, Factory are good, and a USB protected are also distorted, anyone have this experience? maybe bad MOBO? should I re-install OS? before anything else? also I cannot afford to send this keyboard anywhere, is the RAM chip under the keyboard assembly?

Well, I figured out what was the problem, since some samples were corrupted, I thought let me try not loading the USB protected key and presto! my user sample worked just fine, which means that at fault is the USB key. I bought the Korg's PAUSB01TURK, so now I have to see if I can get a replacement.

I had the same problem last year. All the styles and sounds from THE factory data worked fine just sounds in pcm users was distorted
I replaced the pcm RAM and everything work fine

I bought the KORG Turk USB tha contains styles and sounds, although I use only about 30 percent of what is on there, it comes in handy for me.Assyrianpianist wrote:Is there a version of these USBs that only contains sounds? I'm not interested in their styles, but if they're selling a "Sound" only package, that would be nice.
are you able to pick and choose only what you like and save them in user slots, or that's not possible?Vangelismusic wrote:I bought the KORG Turk USB tha contains styles and sounds, although I use only about 30 percent of what is on there, it comes in handy for me.Assyrianpianist wrote:Is there a version of these USBs that only contains sounds?
