Custom Kronos Dust Covers

Post by MartinHines »

I am planning on ordering a custom dust cover. This company has a wide selection of materials:

Why not just a standard one for less than $20?

I've used the Keywear covers in the past (identical to the Gator covers). They were OK, but sometimes I really had to stretch them to get stuff to fit.

This time, I thought I would try out a cover that is custom sewn to the keyboard's exact dimensions.

Martin - if/when you get it, can you let us/me know how it turns out?

Looks great and for $60 or so, considering we all just dropped over $3k...it's not that big an investment... :)

Thanks

I went all out and ordered the Kronos88 cover with 2-sided Quilted Black Nylon.

I will post pictures as soon as I receive the cover... and my KRONOS 88.

Just FYI, you can get more information about the fabric choices here, including larger pictures:

So you can, thanks! I'm not sure I like the double quilted thing it looks a bit like a persian pillow case.

Having said that I am sure it will do a better job than the Gator cover that I have ordered!

I ordered a custom-made cover for my Korg CX-3 from these guys:

http://www.pianocoversonline.co.uk/korg ... -6956.html

Good fit, good quality, very reasonable price and good service, at least that has been my experience. I chose the 10mm padded version because of all the woodwork on the CX-3, didn't want to get it dented.

I bought eBay item #300569312667.
This is nice. I didn't study many other options, just wanted a micro-fibre cover to avoid scratches due to poor quality material...

Yes, I have used them twice before. Just ordered a Black Leatherette cover from them for the K88. Total, including postage, £31.42
