Jupiter-80 stand for Kronos?

Just gotta throw a quick shoutout to 360 Twister Stands. I absolutely hate being trapped behind a stationary keyboard rig. After seeing Jordan Rudess' setups throughout the years, I started looking into getting a rotating stand of my own.
While not crazy fancy looking or anything, being able to turn on stage definitely adds some stage presence more than my apex or ultimate stand did.
It is not as sturday as my quiklok stand, but it easily holds my 88 key Triton and my CX3 organ on its 2 tiers. It is fully adjustable so if I want to sit down I can do that and lower the keyboards, and if I stand up with a couple pumps of the pedal, it is up to the height I want.
In reality, it is just a stand apparatus on top of a barber chair base. Being able to move and turn a bit is a lot of fun...and then of course you have the ability to do a crazy keyboard spin (full 360+ degrees around) if you have your cables setup and wrapped correctly.
Not horribly expensive either:

Isn't there a price for beauty?StephenKay wrote:That was more of a joke.Kevin Nolan wrote:Finally, that Roland stand looks good to me for a single keyboard / stage piano, and unlike Stephen Kay, I have absolutely no issue with the label on it
What isn't a joke, is the obscene price of it.

Another Ultimate Apex-90 (black) user here. I freaking LOVE that stand. Yes, it's a tad on the heavy side, but using the leverage technique makes it a breeze to set up. It also comes standard with a sturdy carry-bag with a hand and shoulder strap.
I have 2 gripes with the Apex-90, though: one, what is the freaking deal with Ultimate not putting out their mic-boom adapter? How hard is it to design something so simple? I don't get it...and they just keep pushing it back 6 months at a time. The stand has been on the market for almost 2 years now, and they have been delaying the mic-boom adapter since LAUNCH!!! ????
Gripe 2: the legs have spring-loaded pegs that lock them in place when inside the stand. I have had 3 of the Apex-90s, and all three of them have had at least 2 of the feet (legs) spring-pegs fail on me. Once they fail, the legs no longer lock in place inside the stand when you tear down for transport, so as soon as it comes out of the gig bag, the loose feet come flying out. A nuisance, and a problem, as Ultimate has replaced my stand twice for this problem.
These are minor gripes...the stand is brilliant and worth the money. I look at the K-M Spider Pro's and cringe because they do NOT look stable to me at all. If their legs stuck out a bit farther, I'd jump on one. But as they are now, I'm gonna stick with my Apex-90s. And the Roland Jupiter-80 stands look sick, but I wouldn't pay that kind of money for them...even though I can easily afford it!

Personally I could not care how they look - on stage or in the studio - once they do the job.
I've used the QL WS-550 for some time now . Breaks down and sets up in under 10 seconds. Folds into a "T" shape and fits on the equipment dolly nicely for schlepping.
It fit the 72 lb. Yamaha CP300 beast like a glove.

Also the Roland RD700GX. It was overkill for the Nord Piano which I had for a few months, made the the NP look kinda toyish on it, the NP was just too small. It was just ok with the SV-1 88 because the SV was not very deep, it looked just a little weird. But for either the 73 or 88 Kronos, which is fairly deep, the 550 would be perfect.

Thanks to some help I now am sure the K&M Spider Pro will not work in combination with a Behringer FCB1010. See picture below

It 'costs' either an expression pedal and 2 switches or 4 switches (or both expression pedals).
So I am going for another stand, probably a K&M 18950 (almost the same as I have now but this one is higher, which I need), or a Jaspers 2D/V/M/S-120B/S (don't know which type yet).

Standtastic

Has anyone tried the Standtastic stands? Looks like it could be a good solution for me. Need to be able to have three keyboards on it spaced as close as possible. Looks like they're fully adjustable including tilt. Could also be able to place a midi pedal keyboard underneath. Only question I have is how wide is it?
I have the Standtastic 3 tier stand. It is great to stack 3 keyboards on top
of each other. You can layer them and adjust them in/out right where you want them. The width is adjustable, and there is plenty of room for pedals.
It comes with a zipper bag, but if you use all three tiers you have to remove the top tier or it will not fit in the bag. Bummer there. I gigged with it for awhile, but now I only use 2 keyboards live. I like it and it is great in my studio.
