Korg some information please:

After waited for 2 weeks for the presentation of Kronos I was very excited, but now I have to wait 2 1/2 month more for the price, this is so boring. I would like to have som words from Korg if that's so. Now I cant sell my stuff to buy this when I dont know the price. Perhaps I go for motif xf instead. Then I get my Karma 3 also.

That's a funny one!

Korg Kronos 76
EUR 3799 (but they state they aren't 100% sure about the price)
Availability unknown

I'd say a very good price for a very unique keyboard (if it's really a Kronos /w 76 keys)

HA HA. Another one. The Motif'ers are desperate.

So, what are street prices for the 12 year old Motif compared to the Kronos? I just ordered my Kronos 88 for $3599. I see the Motif 88 for $3499. Unfortunately, the Motif can't do 95% of what the Kronos can.
Current Korg Gear: KRONOS 88 (4GB), M50-73 (PS mod), RADIAS-73, Electribe MX, Triton Pro (MOSS, SCSI, CF, 64MB RAM), SQ-64, DVP-1, MEX-8000, MR-1, KAOSSilator, nanoKey, nanoKontrol, 3x nanoPad 2, 3x DS1H, 7x PS1, FC7 (yes Korg, NOT Yamaha).

why is m3 better than motif? i got an m3 but i think the sound of motif are softer. The arpeggiator is bigger (but not editable as in m50) and now they also got karma 3.

the street price in europe for motif xf is about 2/3 of the kronos if the worst scenario happens (E3000 for kronos 6)

oh my gosh,

we're surrounded by clones!

I told you, the second nuke was too much, and was gonna have long-term effects!

One was enough

We would still have Korg and Yammi, but no human robots crawling the forums

ozy wrote: So, prices in euro will probably not be official until the Kronos is available for delivery.
the same doesn't apply for USA, since Korg strategies seem to be US$-based rather than JPY-based.
This is probably why we have:
a) pre-sales available in USA
b) no pre-sales available in Euroland
c) Korg mum on prices
Well, well, even you can mustard a completely serious and on-topic post :) Nice change of pace ;)

BTW, I absolutely agree. And I have a sneakin' suspicion that prices will float, more in Euroland then in the US...

They do read, quite a few Korg people are regulars here... they don't base their business decisions on our predictions, that's for sure :) Some feature requests, yep ;)

well then humble please and so on he he
Mr Korg

1. when will the price in europe be announced?
2. I suppose the Kronos will be more then 3000 euro, but 3400 is really to much so ... the states price + eu-vat is about 3000 euro, that was the price I thougt would be, and that price would give me the chans to buy kronos. Could you estimate the price neare 3k or 3.4k? (stupid question?)

yes, we can estimate ANYTHING about Korg, as you may have guessed from 7-days long threads about not-yet-existing machines and coming-in-the-future upgrades.

But we are wrong 98% of the time.

So: do you really want to hear our guess?

careful what you ask for, because you could get it
