I know. They've got too much time on their hands or possibly out of their tiny little minds. This is getting ridiculous. If anyone from Korg reads this: please write less cr@p.

Love the product though, will possibly get one. At least it's made of metal.

Looks more like Trinity - parts metal, parts plastic, but done the right way. M3 was an excercise in the "wrong way" in that respect...

Yes, I do agree, the Kronos does look good and cosmic!
However, no clear labeling of sliders e.t.c. will make it harder to play, especially on stage e.t.c.

I love the KRONOS specifications!!! It's an amazing instrument... It does look like a revised OASYS... But, I would warn people of hidden limits with these many options.

I also hope that the sequencer is much more improved from the OASYS sequencer.

I also hope that KORG has finally added the following:
-Ability to change tracks for recording in loop mode,
-rehearsal mode during recording to temporarily disable recording (allows you to try different phrases while the sequencer is looping).....
-Ability to edit drum kits from sequencer mode to allow minor tweaks for a key, rather than needing to jump to Global and having to create a custom kit just because I want the snare to have a little more reverb on a kit...

Other than that.................... congratulations to KORG

I don't want to debate just ask: guys, can you name a certain popular music genre where the best instruments from Korg couldn't be used perfectly? I find these keyboards are very good for rock, pop, country, dance, electro, techno, etc.
So instead of counting the number of synth engines I think it's better to concentrate on real usability. (I don't care if the acoustic piano is coming from HD-1 or STR-1 or MOD-7 or physical modeling etc.. It's much more important: how does it sound - sure, there's a connection! - and can I use that piano in my music or not. Certainly, I like having more engines because they give bigger freedom in orchestration, broadening the OASYS of sounds..)

I think the idea behind the workstation is that you can cover 90% of the sounds for EVERY possible genre. If the only thing you make is acid, then of course you should get all the vintage Roland stuff. If the only thing you do is orchestral soundtrack stuff, perhaps you go Kurzweil (or, better, to gigantic sample libraries). If the only thing you do is acoustic guitars, then maybe the Motif. But if you want broad coverage of EVERYTHING, then it looks like Kronos will be the new king.

my dear friend is not everything about sounds, cause if i am using your reasoning if I am using all my VSTIs I am covered...

is about the workflow, the way you input sounds and how you evolve with your sound...

and believe me I had this kind of tracks in Top 10 Beatport chart....
