im trying to hook up my zero 8 so that i can record a synth into cubase.

im completely lost... what are the steps to set it up so that i can send midi to a synth and then record it into a channel on cubase 4.

help greatly appreciated

hey Jarred, what you need to do is setup your inputs/outputs in cubase.
btw, what cubase version you on?

I guess that doesnt really matter :)

So to setup your I/O in cubase you need to open your VST Connections.

u can do this by hitting f4 or you can find it in the 'devices' tab.

Now select the output tab and you should see your Stereo Out bus.
HERE you will add new outputs for your zero8.

Right-click and add your required output busses (these goto your channels on ur zero8)

Set the ports corresponding to your zero8 mixer channels ie. 1L 1R , 2L 2R ect. . . .

INPUTS:

Just do the same , add bus , then connect the ports....
