ESX Arpeggiator Question
How do I choose the sample I want to be controlled from the arpeggiator?
Lets say I am in pattern C24 and I ll use one of its samples on the arpeggiator. Can I choose whichever sample and assign it to the arpeggiator?
Sometimes, when I push the SLice and keyboard buttons, the arpeggiator's sound changes from synth to another sample.
Why does this happen? How can I SAVE the sample to be assigned for the arpeggiator? So that it will be a FIXED sound for the chosen pattern.

I don't know exactly what you are doing, but if you have muted a part using the 'Part mute' button, and then unmute that part by pressing the 'Part mute' button and the Part together, it doesn't select that Part (the Part that was recently selected remains selected), and so the arpeggiator will continue to use the recently selected Part. To select the Part for the arpeggiator all you have to do is press the required Part - for the drum Parts press shift as well so that the sample doesn't sound when you press the button (I think this is also true for the stretch and slice Parts).
Does this make any sense?

When you push the button for *any* part, that part becomes 'active' and the edit controls allow you to edit the parameters for that part. So what is being said is that the Arpeggiator also affects that active part.
Not sure about the ESX or EMX specifically but that's what it sounds like here. On my ES1 and ER1 the active part button is lit/flashes differently to the others.
You don't have to hit the part button at the same time as the arp button
