Kaossialtor or Mini-K

I have an Electribe ESX-1
I usually play the same pattern for one song.
Cause I also sing. addin my guitar playin in some songs.
I dont understand if the SMALL yellow Kaossilator would sync well with the ESX preset patterns or is it just a standalone unit which would be hard to sync with ESX?
A KAOSS mini-K is a better choice than?
(I wanna add some flavour to the boring patterns.)

I think that ESX fx section isnt very good.
I also think that the arpeggiator section messes up my pattern's memory.maybe I dont know the ESX well enough BUT I need a SIMPLE solutio to add different things to my patterns in an EASY way for LIVE purposes WHILE I sing. (A foot pedal would be better for me but I dont know if a usual guitar FX processor would be as cool as mini-K?)
I tried my ZOOM with ESX n it sucked big time....

what do you mean by "add different things to my patterns" ?

the kaoss pad adds effects to existing sounds, the kaossilator generates its own sounds

I know that but let me ask it this way then :
Does the Kaossilator (the mini yellow one) work with ESX-1?
it says there is no MIDI sync. Does it mean the arpeggios tempo's
wouldnt automatically sync with ESX's tempo?

Correct. No MIDI on the Kaossilator.

You can set the tempos on both machines to be the same and hope for the best I guess, but no triggering between the two for syncing

If you want that feature, go for the Kaossilator Pro or for effects and sampling the KP3.
