I do have a question . . . . .

Post by bturner »

Greetings all:
First a very important question for me: I am trying to run Sibelious 6 and also Coda's Print Music programs and can't get a midi sound. I have windows 7 PC and to that a MIDI convertor which works--the computer says so. I downloaded the driver for Windows 7 from the KorgUK site, and I have the midi cables hooked up right (in to out, out to in, etc). And, the MIDI instructions in the software I think are correct too--that is, when I play back a score the lights on the midi convertor begin going off--yet no sound. What's up with that??!!???

I'll write this too, as an incredible traditionalist. I have a Korg Concert C-150 piano--it looks like a small Yamaha studio upright, and, using the piano mode, it has a wonderfully clean and crisp acoustic sound. I don't like the decay on the notes, however, and if there was any part of the tone that I think would be improved it would be that decay. Are there any other Korg pianos on the market today with an improved acoustic type piano sound??
Thanks in advance for any responses, an answer to the first question is a very big deal to me!!! Bruce.
