How to Renamed a Performance

Post by zolux »

Hola amigos;

I have downloaded this Performance from Internet named "No Name", I want to change this name to "Trancy" but I don't know how to do it.
In Media I have been through every page possible and some of them I did not even know they existed, but to no avail.
None of them give me the option of writing a new name to it.

That's why I'm asking your help, so any Korg's Guru out there?

Thanks in advance from Juan, in Malaga - España

Follow the following menus:

Media -> Load

select (highlight) the .SET file containing the performance called "No Name"
do not press the "Load" icon on the screen, instead touch "Open"

You will see several folders inside the .SET file, select the one called "PERFORM" by highlighting it, touch "Open" again.

You will now see several performance folders, e.g. USER01 and USER02. Select whichever folder contains the "No Name" performance. Touch "Open" again.

Now touch "Load" for the specific performance called "No Name". You will be prompted for the location where you want to load it to, and you will be able to give it a new name.

Best regards,
Rob

Dear friend Rob, thank you for your quick reply, I knew you would be the one to answer my query and I was right.

I have done it the way you said it and it has worked for me.

Thank you once again.

Gratefully, Juan
