Xone 42 + Kp3 = latency

Post by SilverF0x »

HI, i have a terrible problem with my new mixer. i can switch kp3 in SEND/DIRECT mode.
If i use the kp3 in the send mode i use it like that:
i have the knob on dry, i start touching kp3, and then change from dry to 50% dry-50% wet. So my level go down, because the signal in the effect, is cut a little by the kp3. when i go to 100% wet, i have a full effect, so back to good level. So while passing from totally dry to totally wet, i have a volume reducing, and then full volume again.

If i use in DIRECT mode, this problem would not be esisting, but i have terrible lag, if i put 50% wet 50% dry even without touching the effect.

what i am doing wrong?

Sorry but I cannot understand what you mean by saying "i have the knob on dry, i start touching kp3, and then change from dry to 50% dry-50% wet. So my level go down, because the signal in the effect"

If you press the filter button on your mixer and turn the knob to the dry then there should be no effects and oppositely when you turn the knob to there will be only effects signal which will send by KP3.

If you are using turntables or analog devices you should adjust the input volume knob on the kp3 as there is not volume reduces...
