Hi! I'm Nate. 8)

I am trying to get ahold of an M3 this summer, and have been reading about it obsessively here, on Korg's site, and watching Stephen's stuff, etc. I'm extremely intrigued by KARMA and have never really had a decent sampler. As cheap as I usually am, I can't bring myself to get an X50 because I love the control options on the M3 so much! (Although, I concede that I haven't tried either yet, think I'ma do that today.)

I'm going to school for graphic design and play music every week at my church, and jam with bands here and there.

I wouldn't say I'm a first-rate keyboard player but I love me some toys. Like the KP3, nanoKEY, etc. :twisted: (This guitarist I know makes fun of me for it a lot.)

Current gear: Korg M3-61 (YES!), KP3, nanoKEY, deceased nanoPAD. :'(
M-Audio Ozone (LOVE it.)
MacBook Pro 17" with all the options (not unibody though.)

Alesis iO26 (?) 8-channel FireWire Audio interface

Welcome to the forum Nate! And good luck with your M3 search.

There are loads of decent used M3s out there, but with freight costs and all (particularly at that price point), its almost worth buying 'new'.

But whatever you choose, good luck!
