Hi purple,

my first R3 patch I did after getting my R3 was "JD-GaGa" just for fun. You can find it on my webpage http://www.axxim.de/r3dias/ under /sounds/SE.
Actually it is a sequence but you can isolate the desired timbre of that "dirty pan flute" and modify it to your taste.

Hope this helps

the settings would be exactly the same. just different knobs are sued to set them.

however, axxims patch is better

Thank you Axxim. Very good patch. Just got the R3 today, so im a bit of a noob, but i think iv got the hang of patching already. The first thing i wanted to do was recreate some good old pop synth like gaga. going to ty and find MGMT's 'kids' next i think.

Thank you tpantano. I assumed it would be the same settings but the menues seemed a little complicated as it was my first synth and i was just hoping someone else had already done it. Need to spend some time reading the manual and get the hang of editing the voices as i want to get the absolute most out of it.

so pleased i bought the R3!

I noticed one of the annoying things about these videos is that they often call out the parameter changes as 'knob1', 'knob2', 'knob3'. He hadn't even bothered to read the manual to figure out what the waveform names on the screen meant:
"change knob 1 to Di9 or whatever that is meant to mean" (I think its Dig - Digital Waveforms i.e. the DWGS).

But the laziest bit by far is definately the knob names. Its written there right in front of him.

I was going to comment on the video but Safari 5 seems to have broken the comment box, like button, expandable description, etc on youtube...

Hilarity aside, I have a feeling that the link in his signature is probably dangerous. It would be unusual for someone to post randomly (probably based on a search like that) without some kind of motive (virus, ads, etc)
