I get an error message when trying to update my Triton!

Post by Moisey1 »

I have copied all three disks and put what's inside of them in the root of the floppies. I turned on my Triton with enter and locate and it asked for disk 1 so i inserted it. It started showing me Now Loading, Erasing ROM and some other stuff, and then it gave me an error "Read Failed""Insert System Disk 1" Now my Korg does not even load but I can still access the upgrade option. Please help me out, what should I do?

I also took a look inside and i saw that the leg from the floppy drive which the floppy connector connects to is missing, may that be the problem?

Well if the Pin (not leg) is in themiddle and is missing your okay. but check for bent pins around the edges. but most of all try buying new floppies. it worked for me
