Arpeggiator Help?

Post by Eowyn61Rox »

Hi... I've only had my KORG M50 for about 6 months, and am still discovering new features. This is my first keyboard, and I've never used an arpeggiator before. I've read the manual, but am still somewhat in the dark as to how it works.

Can someone tell me in simple terms just how to set up a pattern of my own using the arpeggiator? And then how to use it in a song. Thanks! :)

Are you wanting to know how to route something to / from arpeggiators, or how to use it in a song?

maybe you are creating a combi, you hold down the chord with your left hand. You could set one arp to get the lowest note of the chord, and run a bassline with it. the second one you can route it to a keyboard comping pattern.

or you can play a synth pad, with 2 arp running different pattern routed to 2 short notes, panned wide.... for a very wide sounding.

I would like to add to the question:

How to use the 4 knobs in arp mode, to control only one of the arps? Is this possible?

Arpegg help

Thanks newtonlkh, yeah, I'm wondering how to use the arpeggio I've created in a song... it seems when I start playing something it throws that arp. off that I've created. Thanks for your help.
