Looking for 3rd-Party M50 Patch Libraries

Post by AJP »

Hi... still lovin' my M50, but still also looking for 3rd-party patch libraries. Something akin to motifator.com's libraries for the Motif line (80s Synths, Vintage Synths, etc.). I saw that pro-rec.com has libraries available, but they're geared toward amibent/soundscape/Karma-type sounds. I'm looking for more bread-and-butter synths; what some would consider to be passe'... including, but not limited to, the D-50's Stereo Polysynth, Fantasia, Stacatto Heaven, D-50 Stack; big fat juicy Oberheims (yes, "Jump"-like); huge synth brasses (ELP's "Touch and Go", etc.), Minimoog leads; and pads. Think it's just a matter of time before more 3rd party sounds appear? I know many of these are in the GM bank, but I'm looking for more quality and programming "Oomph" than that. Wish I were a better programmer or had more time to learn. But in the case of the Motifator libraries, the money is WELL worth it.

If anyone is interested in programming stuff like this on the M50 for hire, let me know!

Don't know if you've tried this, but you can also look at M3 libraries, as long as they don't use Karma-specific features or samples.
Keyboard Rig: Korg Kronos, Moog Sub 37, Waldorf Blofeld Module, Neo Instruments Ventilator II, Moog MiniFooger Delay, Strymon BigSky, Roland KC-150, Mackie 802-VLZ4 Mixer

Yes, I saw kidnepro.com's M3 stuff and e-mailed them. Not compatible with the M50. But thanks for the reply!

This http://www.basaristudios.com/m3newage.html
will work on M50 too but only the Programs...the KARMA
can work too if you own the M50K Software from Karma-Lab.
