Hello everyone!
I have just uploaded a video on youtube, which I could not do without my beloved M50. I am a big fan of the RPPR function, ever since I watched Rich demonstrating it. It allows me to play "live"... Well, almost!
For some reason I like this much more than sequencing everything and pressing "start".
This is a short improvisation based on a song by my favourite band.

Thanks for the encouraging words outsider9!
You are spot on, about the BCR 2000: I was just looking for a reason to try it out. It is the first time I used the "learn" function to replicate a few buttons and knobs, which are already there on M50.
As for splitting the keyboard for different voices; I am trying to figure out how to do it in SEQ mode. I need SEQ mode in order to use the RPPR.
It is pretty straightforward in COMBI mode but I did not yet find a way to do it in SEQ.
Cheers

All of the timbres that you want to use at one time from the keyboard (i.e. layered) have to be set to the same channel. They won't interfere because they are set to different keyzones, but that would be the way to do it.expilatio wrote: As for splitting the keyboard for different voices; I am trying to figure out how to do it in SEQ mode. Interesting performance, but I found some of the sounds a little brash and unpolished. You should experiment a little more with the 'mastering' and mixing side of things, in particular using an EQ or limiter or compressor in the TFX slot.

Many thanks for the tip X-Trade!
I will definitely try that out.
I also agree with the need to "polish" the sound a bit more.
I noticed after recording that I was particularly unhappy with the timbre and level of the synth which kicks in at 0:42 but by that time, I was trying to figure out how to use the video editing software in the middle of the night!
Nevertheless, I do need to do better next time.
Thanks for the feedback.

interesting that I watched the clip this afternoon before saw this thread.
Keep up man!
About polishing the work, I think the first and most important issue is the level balance of each track!
If you work better another mix, perhaps record your performance and output another audio with a final balance?
