'Oscillator Free'

Post by tpantano »

This sound is so very pretty. It breaks the boundary of beauty we've known so far. It also uses no oscillators.

Yep, just a lot of punch and resonance, a pinch of key tracking, some effects, and bam, this beauty.

Made it completely by accident when fooling around with self oscillation.

for those too lazy to download, just

1. Turn off osc 1 volume, turn punch to max, and transpose whole patch down 3 octaves
2. set filter 1 to high pass, with max resonance and 60 cutoff
3. set key tracking to +1.
4. apply ensemble and stereo mod. delay. fool around with eq. tada!

Really nice sound dude!

I took it down an octave and it was quite nice for playing chords.

Then I turned off the effects and played it 2/3 octaves down and
got a nice bass sound from it (sine tone like)

:D
