Control portamento time in combi by knob controller

Post by spinlud »

hi all

i have a program lead with several midi assignments on knobs, like cutoff, resonance,...portamento time (CC#05). I have copied it with effects on the timbre 1 of an empy combination. I don't know why but the control of portamento time doesn't work instead of the others midi controls that work normally. What i have to do to get the control of portamento time in combination mode by a knob controller?

thanks in advance for any help :)

Do you have the knobs actually assigned to Portamento Time (CC #05) or just to CC #05? The latter seems less likely to work. Beyond that, all you should have to do is make that assignment and make sure you're using the B set of knobs (not the A set that's permanently assigned to a few things like cutoff, or the C set that's assigned to arpeggiator control).
