Original sounds lost after loading some .pcg patches
Hi,
I need some help about the original sounds that I had on my Triton Classic. After loading some .pcg files into Triton's memory I lost some of the files I originally had. For eg. in Combi, Bank A, the first 000 combined sound is no more the Piano but an organ sound. Is there a way to revert to original sound?
Before importing that organ sound I also checked something about the ROM sound... but I'm not pretty sure what I did over there. Is there a way to turn back to the original sound structure?
Thank you in advance, guys!
Emanuel
P.S. Did some more tests and I noticed that the clean piano has been moved to bank E, so I managed to move it back to Comb A, in keyboards, position 000. My question now is this one: if I chose to overwrite a Comb or a Prog position with a different sound, this sound will go lost or it will be automatically moved to E or to an available slot?
P.P.S. Checked again... the sounds seem to be changed. I mean I was looking for a great Comb Pad, it was the first one, I think it was called Antarctica and it had a great Alphaville - Forever young sound. Now it is not the first one anymore and the sound is totally different. Can I reset the keyboard to it's original sounds?

If you overwrite a program or combination, the original program or combination will be lost, yes.emanuelsj wrote: My question now is this one: if I chose to overwrite a Comb or a Prog position with a different sound, this sound will go lost or it will be automatically moved to E or to an available slot?
If you reload all of the factory combis and programs, your Triton should be the same way it was when it came out of the box.
Make sure you backup your .PCG files before making any changes or loading new .PCG files.
M3, Triton Classic, Radias, Motif XS, Alesis Ion
I chosed to restore to the original state, but I have no combis at all. Why's that? In order to do that I only loaded the pcg file. Should I load the other kmp file from the disks maybe?
Synthoid and bsr2002, I do appreciate your kind assistance, but it is a bit late to back up the content. Anyway, I didn't load or create any particular sound that I would need to recover. So what I want to do is to revert the keyboard to it's original sounds.
This is how the things goes right now: I have no combis, when I attempt to browse the categories (keyboadrs, organs, mallets, synths, pads) everything is grayed out. And also there's no prog. That's not good at all.
Anybody, please, help! If possible to backup that stuff, can anyone back it up and send me a link to download it? Thank you...

Good news, folks.
The problem has been solved by loading the other file from the factory presets disk, not the .pcg but the other one... ksc file. When prompted, I checked "load preload.pcg too" and also "load preload.sng too". In the "Select .ksc Allocation" I didn't chose "Append" but "Clear".
And this is it. Thank you for being close to me. Hope that this will save lives one day!
Now I'll go back to play some sweet Triton sounds...
