Technical problem - a very sharp B flat

Post by Wombat »

Hi everyone, I'm new here.... I recently bought a Karma 2nd hand and love it. But it seems to have developed a fault. The middle octave Bb on some patches seems to surge and plays loudly no matter how soft I play. I'm not very technical; maybe the answer is take it to a store. But does anyone have any bright ideas as to what it might be and whether its fixable?

It may be the keystrip underneath your keys may need to be replaced or cleaned. I found a website where they repair a deadkey. Check it out may be related.

Yes! Thanks for the suggestion, bsr2002.

I have the same problem, about 3 weeks, only in the lower E key: in any velocity, the synthesizer responds like velocity = 127. All the other keys works perfectly.

I´ll disassemble the keyboard and clean the contacts.

Thanks! :D
