M3 88 & Radias module working together on same keybed

Post by KorgyRadias »

I am a newbie to the forum and this is my first posting, YEH. I will shortly be getting my new M3 88 and Radias R module sharing the same keybed in a couple of days (exciting times). I have started to read the online manuals. For those that have a similar set-up, is there any settings or things that I should be aware of when I come to set it up? :D

nope. plug in cable and go. They really behave as 2 synths connected to the same keybed at the same time. I have the M3-73 and RADIAS-R mounted on it.
Current Korg Gear: KRONOS 88 (4GB), M50-73 (PS mod), RADIAS-73, Electribe MX, Triton Pro (MOSS, SCSI, CF, 64MB RAM), SQ-64, DVP-1, MEX-8000, MR-1, KAOSSilator, nanoKey, nanoKontrol, 3x nanoPad 2, 3x DS1H, 7x PS1, FC7 (yes Korg, NOT Yamaha).

M3 Sudosonic DVD or not?

Post by KorgyRadias »

Would I be better buying the M3 Sudosonic DVD to hopefully short cut the learning curve or should I just burn the midnight oil and persevere with my existing knowledge and the manuals?

I'd go without the DVD. There's really not that much to the pairing of the two. You'll quickly find out if you need it or not.
