Kaoss pad 1

Hi team, this will probably seeem like a really daft question but i have only just gotten one of these and i have no ideahow to connect it up..

i have midi keyboards so thought this effects unit could add some nice touches to the patches if i cud figure out how to connect it..

i hope someone can help i newbie to the world of music creation

I didn't see your original post before....

The Kaoss Pads are basically effects processors - they have an input and an output...

so what you do is you take the stereo audio output from your synth or record deck preamp or guitar preamp or whatever, connect that to the stereo IN (left and right in) connectors on your KP1, and then connect the output from the KP1 to wherever the source was connected before you added the KP1.

for example:
Synth > Mixer

becomes:
Synth > KP3 > Mixer

ah thanks for that mate.. i did work it out in th eend through trial and error and my DX7 is now churning out some wierd and wonderful sounds
