spent all last night and several hours today trying to get my padkontrol to work.. will post my woes in the appropriate forum.
Just getting back into digital recording "stuff" did a bit in the 90's then wandered away (read: wasted several years playing online games)
getting back into it, picked up ableton live 8 suite, apc40, a padKontrol and a lexicon omega.
My musical tastes are all over the place from black metal, to grindcore, to godflesh, to townes van zandt, steve earl, emmy lou harris, kraftwork, devo, talking heads, buckethead, and kitaro etc.
